Dear
Srila Prabhupada,
On this most auspicious day of your appearance we offer
You our most respectful obeisances along with an eternity of gratitude and an
ocean of love. Srila Prabhupada so many lifetimes we have spent in darkness and
uncertainty, when we think of our delusional state before receiving your mercy,
we simply cry. Srila Prabhupada, as we were drowning in the darkness of the material
abyss you gently took our hands and instructed us how to breathe again. We are
still choking Srila Prabhupada but by your grace and the grace of your eternal
loving agents we are still being offered your instructions for a life of eternity,
knowledge and bliss.
Srila Prabhupada, today we do not pray for your protection,
we do not pray for your shelter, we do not pray for you to enthuse us and we do
not pray for your mercy. Why? Because how can we pray for something that you have
always offered us? We simply pray that we may turn to you, embrace you and reciprocate
with your love.
We want to especially thank-you today Srila Prabhupada for
your beautiful spiritual family here in Brisbane Yatra. They are all glorious
and sincere spiritual warriors. They are all tireless in your loving service and
they are so kind in tolerating our weaknesses and pride. We love them very much
and we can't anticipate how painful life would be without them.
We hope in
some way you can forgive us for our mistakes and insincerity. Please allow this
foolish pair to remain in the service of your lotus feet. Koti dandavata pranams.
