Istagosthi Sunday 30th May 2004 starts 9.15 AM

This Sunday the monthly Istagosthi starts at 9.15AM. Topics will include reports from the department heads.

There will also be a vote on the naming of the new temple project from the names received to date.

Monday the 31st May is Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi. If you have broken the Ekadasi vrata at any time of the year (eating of grains or beans on the Ekadasi) then by observing this fast (a total fast even from water) one can achieve the results of having observed all the various Ekadasi days throughout the year.

Of course we understand that the real meaning of observing Ekadasi is to please Lord Hari and that it is not a karma-kanda activity. Vaisnavas perform their activities to please the Lord and look forward to such days, which are termed "Days of Devotion" with great enthusiasm.

Later this week we look forward to the arrival of His Holiness Ramai Swami who will be with us for several days of prgrams and Krsna katha. Please visit the temple for getting sadhu-sanga.
