Bhanu Swami and BV Madhava Maharaj visit Brisbane
28 – 31 March 2006
ISKCON Brisbane is pleased to have the association of these two visiting sannyasis. In particular His Holiness Bhanu Swami will be conducting a three day seminar on Vaishnava Samaskaras.
Course Objective : To familiarise devotees with the concept of samskaras, which are recommended in Bhagavatam and other scriptures, and how to perform them in a way suitable for a Gaudiya Vaisnava.
 HIS HOLINESS BHANU SWAMI
Born in Canada to Japanese parents, HH Bhanu Swami Maharaj is one of the senior disciples of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, founder acharya of ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
His Holiness has translated various books from Sanskrit and Bengali to English, such as Sat kriya sara dipika, Sri Chaitanya Sikshamrita, Navadvipa Dhama Mahatmya, Hari Nama Cintamani, Madhu rya Kadambini, Madhava Mahotsava, Visvanatha Cakravarti and Baladeva's commentaries on the Gita, Visvanatha Cakravarti's commentary on Srimad Bhagavatam Tenth Canto, and Jiva Goswami's commentary on Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu. He is an expert in Bhakti sastras and astrology.
He is great inspiration and guide for many devotees around the world and he preaches Krishna consciousness in Japan , Malaysia , Russia and India . He is presently the co-GBC of ISKCON South India.

HH. Bhakti Vaidurya Madhava Swami
His Holiness Bhakti Visrambha Madhava Swami is one of the senior disciples of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, founder acharya of ISKCON, International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
Maharaj had served as Head Pujari in temples in St Louis and has a very fond attachment for Tulasi Maharani, the holiest of trees, and had cared for a large number of Tulasi bushes during his service.
Maharaj had also served as production manager for BBT Mumbai, whilst also managing a bus party distributing books in South India .
Majaraj is presently based in Vrndavan, and travels regularly to preach in Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Australia, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, London, Helsinki , Towaco, Chicago, St. Louis, Hawaii, Fiji and New Zealand.
On his travels, Maharaj takes a special interest in the worship and care of Tulasi devi, and assists and trains Her aspiring devotees.
